Product information "TrigJig Micro Trim Square MTS 100"
TrigJig has incorporated a number of design features from the RSA Rafter Squares and Pocket Squares into the all-new MTS 100. For such a small tool, it is incredibly versatile and easily fits in the pocket of a tool vest or tool belt.
CNC machined from high quality European T6 aluminum, the MTS 100 is a sturdy and robust little tool.
The face has an anodized coating more than 15 microns thick (you don't usually find this thick coating on less expensive tools) and is connected to the two-piece machined aluminum fence with stainless steel fasteners.
A 45-degree chamfer has been removed from the corner of the fence near the pivot point. This allows the MTS 100 to be used on steel cassettes where welds can form in the corners, or where an inside radius prevents other angle pieces from fitting exactly into the corner on woodworking projects.
The MTS 100 features marking notches from 1 mm to 100 mm for extremely accurate and fast marking. The odd scale numbers are on one side, and the even numbers are on the back.
The 100 mm ruler has laser markings in a recessed notch to prevent the scale markings from rubbing off over time.
There is also a handy degree scale that runs along the hypotenuse and has been calibrated to the inner turning edge of the fence.
