Since 2008, LYRA has been part of the Italian group FILA Fabbrica Italiana Lapis ed Affini S.p.A. (FILA). As an internationally broad-based group, the companies use synergies in production and sales.
The product range, the markets and the corporate philosophy of both companies complement each other perfectly.

Customers worldwide benefit from a more comprehensive product range and competitive prices. Today, under the motto "Quality by Tradition and Innovation by Conviction", over 14 million wood-cased pencils are produced annually in Nuremberg on more than 6400 square metres of production space and exported all over the world.

LYRA has a total of around 100 employees in Nuremberg. LYRA's core competence is the production and distribution of wood-cased writing instruments. In addition, articles from the office, handicraft and hobby sectors as well as industrial products are sold.
